Human Technologies began in 1954 with a simple conviction: that people with disabilities deserve real work, real wages, and real purpose. Seven decades later, we've grown from a small workshop into a multi-state social enterprise — and the conviction hasn't changed.

Founded in Utica, New York
A small sheltered workshop opens to provide employment for people with disabilities in the Mohawk Valley.
- 1980s
Federal contracting begins
Human Technologies joins the AbilityOne Program, expanding into federal facilities management and supply contracts.
- 2014
60th Anniversary
Sixty years of mission. By this point, operations span four states and four lines of business.
